Desempenho motor e bullying escolar em crianças e adolescentes de alta vulnerabilidade social da Grande Florianópolis - SC

Abstract

Objetivo deste estudo foi analisar o desempenho motor de crianças e adolescentes de alta vulnerabilidade social da Grande Florianópolis e verificar suas possíveis relações com os papéis de envolvimento no bullying. Participaram 300 alunos do Ensino Fundamental de duas escolas da Grande Florianópolis. Os instrumentos utilizados foram: TGMD-2 e o Questionário de Olweus adaptado à população brasileira. A maioria dos alunos apresentou desempenho motor abaixo da média esperada para sua faixa etária. Não foi encontrada diferença significativa entre os papéis de participação no bullying em relação ao desempenho motor. Os fatores de risco associados às comunidades pesquisadas podem ser responsáveis pelo mau desempenho dos participantes, entretanto, valores superestimados pelo teste TGMD-2 para a população brasileira, também podem ter sido responsáveis por esses resultados. Sugerem-se mais estudos comparando comunidades de diferentes contextos, no que tange o desempenho motor dos envolvidos em bullying.

The aim of this study was to analyze the motor performance of children and teenagers with high social vulnerability of Florianópolis and to verify their possible relations with the roles of involvement in bullying. Three hundred elementary school students from two schools participated in the survey in Florianópolis. The instruments used were: TGMD-2 and the Olweus Questionnaire adapted to the Brazilian population. Most students showed motor performance below the expected average for their age group. No significant difference was found among the roles of involvement in bullying in relation to motor performance. Risk factors associated with the surveyed communities may be responsible for the bad performance of the participants, however, overestimated values by TGMD-2 test for the Brazilian population may also have been responsible for these results. We suggest further studies comparing communities of different contexts, in terms of motor performance with involved in bullying.
