Resumo(s)[Excerpt] Introduction: All data that have served as a basis for the analysis presented in this Appendix was obtained from a database created by the European Commission in order to make the information on hazard occurrences available to consumers, organizations, and authorities from all over the world (RASFF: Food and feed safety alerts). Created in 1979, it allows food safety risks notifications to be shared with the aim of preventing such foods from reaching consumers.
