Resumo(s)[Excerpt] To the Editor: We read with great interest the article by Koulaouzidis et al1 entitled “The use of domperidone increases the completion rate of small bowel capsule endoscopy—does this come at the expense of diagnostic yield?” The risk of incomplete small bowel capsule endoscopy (SBCE) has been frequently pointed as an important limitation of the technique.2,3 In such cases, the value of SBCE is limited by the fact that it may miss lesions located in the distal segments of the small bowel, eventually leading to the need for further examinations that will increase overall costs.
