“Aprende com quem sabe”: um projeto de promoção da Intergeracionalidade

Abstract

O aumento da esperança média de vida e a diminuição da natalidade traz consigo consequências para a sociedade, consequências que são visíveis no envelhecimento cada vez mais acentuado. Sendo esta problemática um dos principais debates da atualidade, cabe ao educador nas instituições, ter um papel ativo no acompanhamento desta problemática, pois, para que o idoso não se sinta indesejado ou excluído, é necessário proporcionar uma melhoria na sua qualidade de vida. Sendo assim, este projeto intitulado “Aprende com quem sabe”: Um projeto de promoção da intergeracionalidade, resultado do estágio curricular efetuado numa Instituição Particular de Solidariedade Social no concelho de Guimarães, dirigiu-se a um grupo de adultos/seniores e crianças/jovens, com o objetivo de promover as relações intergeracionais através da técnica de animação sociocultural. Neste projeto a metodologia utilizada é a Investigação-Ação-Participativa com abordagens qualitativas. Para a promoção da intergeracionalidade, planeamos um projeto com atividades lúdicopedagógicas que fossem de encontro ao nosso objetivo, de dar resposta aos problemas e necessidades identificados e também promovendo, de alguma forma, o envelhecimento ativo. Os resultados obtidos demonstram a importância e pertinência desta intervenção, revelando, através das atividades impulsionadas, consciencialização dos cidadãos envolvidos neste projeto, aquisição de novas aprendizagens que os vai ajudar a enfrentar futuros desafios, promovendo qualidade de vida e uma melhor ocupação dos tempos livres.

With the increase of hope media of life and decrease of birth, brings with it consequences for society, consequences that are visible in the growing aging. Being this problematic one of the main debates of the present time, it is the responsibility of the educator in the institutions to play an active role in the follow-up of this problematic, since, for the elderly person not to feel unwanted or excluded. There for, this project entitled “Learn with who knows”: a project of promotion of intergeracionality, result of the curricular intership done in a private institution of the social solidarity of the municipality of Guimarães, promotes intergenerational relationships through the sociocultural animation technique. In this project the methodology used is participatory-actionresearch with qualifying approaches. For the promotion of intergeracionality, we planned a project with ludic-pedagogical activities where they would meet our objectives, to respond to identified problems and needs and to promote in some way, the active aging. The obtained results show the importance and persistance of this intervention, showing, through the driven activities, awareness of the citizens involved on this project, acquisition of knowledge that will help them face the challenges that are yet to come, promoting life quality and a better occupation of leisure time.
