Ara de Ana Luísa Amaral: uma realidade descontínua

Abstract

Procura-se neste ensaio escutar e “dar a ouvir” a multiplicidade de vozes que compõem este “texto” (que escapa a definições estanques de género), de Ana Luísa Amaral, uma tessitura polifónica e dialogizante onde, numa relação de estreita proximidade com o leitor, se indaga primordialmente “De que se fala quando se fala do amor?” e “Como se fala quando se fala do amor?”

Throughout our reading of Ana Luísa Amaral’s Ara, a “text” which escapes easy genre definitions and cataloguing, one attempts to bring to the fore the many voices that weave its plural meanings and polyphonic meanders in close proximity with the reader. Surreptitiously, the following questioning occurs: “What do we talk about when we talk about love?” and “How do we talk when we talk about love?”
