Desenvolvimento de um Módulo Habitacional “embrionário” “Plug-in” de habitação unifamiliar

Abstract

A investigação deste trabalho centra-se na procura de uma solução para combater a falta de independência dos jovens no que diz respeito a possuírem habitação própria ou alugada. Isto porque com a situação económica do País, a falta de empregos, o elevado preço das habitações e rendas, entre outros fatores, torna-se frequente ver os jovens ficarem em casa dos pais até uma idade cada vez mais tardia. Com esta dissertação pretende-se desenvolver um conceito para construir habitações de baixo custo e fáceis de construir em autoconstrução. Assim, numa primeira fase, aborda-se a importância da arquitetura pré-fabricada e da arquitetura móvel, referindo-se algumas obras e seus autores. Seguidamente importa analisar o parque habitacional de Portugal e compará-lo com outros países, com isto consegue-se levantar alguns problemas atuais para a resolução dos quais este trabalho pode contribuir. Antes da passagem para a última fase, o desenvolvimento do conceito e da proposta, revelou-se importante fazer um levantamento de alguns módulos existentes no mercado, os quais continham pontos relevantes para o desenvolvimento do projeto, seja por aspetos positivos, seja por pontos negativos que se devam evitar. Por último, o desenvolvimento da proposta foi feito no sentido de responder aos parâmetros solicitados, entre os quais, a ligação do módulo habitacional a uma habitação unifamiliar já existente, ou seja, sendo “alimentado” pela eletricidade e água dessa habitação. O conceito desenvolvido possibilita a fácil adaptação às diversas situações que possam surgir, desde a construção em simples terrenos ao aproveitamento de construções já sem utilidade ou abandonadas, terraços ou mesmo certas coberturas, entre outros cenários.

The research done in this work is centered on the search for a solution to fight the lack of independence of young adults regarding their ability to own or rent their housing. This problem is due to the economic situation of the country, unemployment, and the increased price of houses available to buy/ rent. Given this issue, it is often common to see young adults living in their parent’s houses until a late age. This dissertation aims to develop an easy and inexpensive idea for building houses on the basis of self-construction. Therefore, in a first phase, the importance of pre-fabricated architecture and mobile architecture is discussed, referencing some works and their authors. Afterwards it is important to analyze the housing stock in Portugal and to compare it to that of other countries, seeing that this may help to relieve some of the current problems that this work aims to help solve. Before moving on to the final phase, which involves developing the concept of the proposal, it revealed important to explore some of the models existent on the market which contain interesting points that may help in the development of the project. Such points include both positive and negative aspects, the latter which may be used to learn from and try to avoid in this project. Lastly, the development of the proposal was done in order to respond to the requested parameters, among which were included the connection of the housing module to an existent single-family household providing the new one electricity and water supply. The concept developed allows an easy adaptation to the various situations that might arise, from building on simple plots, as recovering abandoned structures or useless plots to terraces, even on certain roofs, to several other scenarios.
