fora do ambiente escolar, as novas tecnologias, internet, diferentes jogos tipo PSPs, etc,
We have verified in these last few years that after trading opinions between colleagues /Physical Education teachers, there is a difference in motivation between students of the lower secondary school level and a higher secondary school level in the practice of physical education, being the first clearly highly more motivated for the class than those of the higher secondary school levels. The explanation for this can have various reasons. Students discover other points of interest outside of school such as new technologies, internet, different types of computer games such as P.S.P., etc. as well as other types of information and this leading towards spending much more time condensed to their closed spaces in and out of their homes. As a consequence they put aside the practice of physical exercise, playing in the street and other recreational games. Etc. In this manner we can confirm that these behaviors influence directly children and adolescences in their motivation to collaborate and at the same time participate actively in the Physical Education classes in school. It was taking into account these facts that we elaborated this small investigation that has the means to acknowledge the index of motivation/satisfaction/demotivation of students on the practice of physical education. Physical Education classes being of the age group of 10 and 12 years of age (100%).The factor that mostly motivates the students in Physical Education classes is that the classes took place outside of the classroom (40,1%) and the factor that mostly demotivated were the contents taught (65,4%). Besides this, it was verified that was predominant in class was sports/games (89,5%). |
