Léxico e morfologia em Fernão de Oliveira (1536)

Abstract

Dá-se especial destaque, neste ensaio, às diferentes categorias de unidades lexicais resultantes da aplicação de cinco critérios teórico-descritivos, bem como à respetiva estrutura interna e relação de derivação (bases e afixos), chamando, por fim, a atenção para o pioneirismo de Fernão de Oliveira (1.º esboço de Lexicologia e 1.ª teoria da composição das palavras na história da linguística românica) e para a atualidade do seu pensamento sobre teorização lexical e morfológica, com aplicação ao português.

The article deals with different categories of lexical units resulting from the application of five theoretical-descriptive criterions as well as the conformable inner structure and the derivation's relationships (base and affixes). In the final part the attention is paid to pioneering activity of Fernão de Oliveira (the first project of Lexicology and the first word-formation's theory in the history of Romanic linguistics) and to actual way of thinking about lexical and morphological theorization with an application to Portuguese.
