La enseñanza de la literatura en la docencia universitaria en Portugal: oferta educativa y selección de contenidos

Abstract

Based on the description of the implementation process of Spanish studies in Portuguese higher education , this paper aims to make a preliminary report on the teaching of Spanish literature in Portuguese universities , it seeks, specifically , (i) contextualize academic tradition in this area and (ii) describe the current situation of the teaching of literature in Portuguese university . To do this, we use two sources of information : the dissemination of academic offerings by institutions ( web pages , essentially ) and responses to a questionnaire given to that effect and sent to the academic Spanish area in the different rooms higher education . After an initial review of the education offered by higher education institutions in Portugal, we decided to limit this contribution to institutions that meet the University name , leaving out of this initial study institutions like Polytechnics
