dc.description.abstract | The pandemic caused by COVID-19 forced the Portuguese authorities to close, in March 2020, all the educational system, suddenly subjugating thousands of students and teachers to a model of distance education for which few would have been prepared. In the case of students with sensory losses, namely in terms of hearing and vision, it is important to understand how these students follow the classes broadcasted on television and the synchronous classes streamlined online by their teachers. It was found that the main difficulties were linked to issues of accessibility to the contents covered and, in terms of the new technologies, most had the necessary telematic means to participate in these classes. The results of this study allow us to perceive that the policy and pedagogical responsible for the implementation of this teaching model must bear in mind the specificities of its recipients, under penalty of accentuating inequalities, whose right of access to knowledge will always be inalienable. | por |
