De figura simbólica a emblema da educação: Cruzando olhares sobre o labirinto

Abstract

A figura simbólica do labirinto revela-se um complexo mítico-simbólico extremamente pregnantedo imaginário mítico e do imaginário educacional. Este artigo dialoga com autores que estudaram a sua simbólica e construção e indaga sobre as implicações educacionais que decorrem da figura simbólica do labirinto. Tomando o labirinto como emblema da educação entendida como transmutação espiritual, constata que toda a educação iniciática, deve seguir os ensinamentos que dele derivam e criar condições para que o iniciado entre no seu interior, se descubra a si próprio e compreenda o sentido da sua profundidade. Trata-se de um processo mais da ordem da experiência, da descoberta e da aprendizagem do que do ensino, onde o protagonista é o próprio aprendente

The symbolic figure of the maze proves to be an extremely pregnant mythic-symbolic complex of the mythical and educational imaginary.In this article the author establishes a dialogue with authors who have studied the symbolic and construction of such maze and questionsthe educational implications that derive from the symbolic figure of this symbolic maze. Taking the labyrinth as an emblem of education understood as spiritual transmutation, he finds that all initiatory education must follow the teachings that derive from it and create conditions for the initiate to enter within, to discover himself/herself and to understand the meaning of its depth.It is a experiential process, a process of discovery and learning rather than of teaching, where the protagonist is the learner himself
