À descoberta do corpo humano: relato de uma experiência em creche e jardim de infância

Abstract

Este relatório enquadra-se no Mestrado de Educação Pré-Escolar e apresenta o projeto de intervenção pedagógica, desenvolvido no âmbito da Prática de Ensino Supervisionada, realizado em dois contextos diferentes – creche e jardim-de-infância. O projeto realizado – à descoberta do corpo humano – partiu do interesse manifestado pelos grupos, após problemáticas surgidas no quotidiano. A partir destas, foram intencionalmente planeadas atividades que possibilitaram responder aos interesses das crianças, ao mesmo tempo que lhes provocava curiosidade e desejo de saber mais. A metodologia utilizada inscreve-se na abordagem da investigação-ação, na medida em que todo o processo foi sendo reajustado às diferentes necessidades, identificadas através da observação e análise das circunstâncias, num ciclo de planificação, ação, observação e reflexão. O relatório evidencia a forma como as crianças aprenderam sobre o seu corpo, a partir da aprendizagem pela ação, na busca permanente de respostas para as suas questões. Relativamente ao jardim-de-infância, as crianças descobriram alguns órgãos internos do corpo humano e perceberam o seu funcionamento, contactando com novos vocábulos. Na creche, as crianças realizaram novas descobertas relativamente à utilização dos seus sentidos, ao experimentarem diversas explorações sensoriais.

This report fits in master’s degree of Educação Pré-Escolar and presents the project of pedagogical intervention, developed in the scope of Prática de Ensino Supervisionada, made into different contexts – crèche and kindergarten. The project – discovering the human body – began with the interest that the groups showed, after problems that emerge in everyday life. From those, activities that served the best interest of the children while capturing their curiosity and desire to know more were planned. The used methodology subscribes to the investigation-action approach, in the measure that all the process was being readjusted to the different needs, identified through the observation and analysis of circumstances in a cycle of planning, action, observation and reflection. The report highlights the way that the children learn about their body, using learning by doing, were the child continuously searches for answers to his questions. Regarding the kindergarten, the children found out about some of the internal organs of the human body and understood the way they work, gaining new vocabulary. In crèche, the children made new discoveries regarding the use of their senses by trying several sensory experiments.
