“Ruxiang-suisu” - estudo sobre a adaptação dos chineses à cultura portuguesa

Abstract

À medida que as relações sino-portuguesas se estreitam, cada vez mais chineses ouvem falar de Portugal, procurando oportunidades de emprego neste país. Normalmente, as suas profissões prendem-se com a área da restauração ou do pequeno comércio. Embora consiga adaptar-se à vida portuguesa, a grande maioria dos chineses, em alguns aspetos, como a gastronomia ou o hábito e ritmo de vida, enfrenta ainda algumas dificuldades de habituação. Por consequência, esta dissertação pretende investigar se os imigrantes chineses que trabalham no norte em Portugal estão ou não a adaptar-se à cultura portuguesa e, portanto, identificar quais são as suas maiores dificuldades, elencando um conjunto de possíveis soluções que resultem na sua real integração na sociedade e cultura portuguesas. Além disso, as diferenças culturais são um fator crucial que interfere no sucesso ou no fracasso das relações interpessoais no quotidiano. Assim, o presente estudo visa explorar as diferenças culturais entre Portugal e China a fim de identificar a perceção cultural dos imigrantes chineses, funcionando como uma orientação para a comunidade chinesa compreender e lidar melhor com as diferenças culturais sentidas na relação com a comunidade portuguesa. Neste seguimento, o trabalho servirá igualmente como indicador de adaptação à vida em Portugal, bem como de aperfeiçoamento da cooperação entre os povos dos dois países.

As Sino-Portuguese relations grow closer, more and more Chinese are hearing about Portugal and looking for job opportunities there. Usually, their professions are in the restaurant or small retail sector. Although they manage to adapt to Portuguese life, the vast majority of Chinese still face some difficulties in getting used to some aspects, such as gastronomy or the habit and rhythm of life. Consequently, this dissertation aims to investigate whether Chinese immigrants working in the north in Portugal are adapting to Portuguese culture and, therefore, to identify what their greatest difficulties are and to list a set of possible solutions that result in their real integration into Portuguese society and culture. In addition, cultural differences are a crucial factor that interferes with the success or failure of interpersonal relationships in everyday life. Thus, the present study aims to explore the cultural differences between Portugal and China to identify the cultural perception of Chinese immigrants, acting as a guideline for the Chinese community to better understand and deal with the cultural differences felt with the Portuguese community. Following this, the work will also serve as an indicator of adaptation to life in Portugal, as well as improving cooperation between the peoples of the two countries.

随着中葡关系日益密切，越来越多的中国人开始熟知葡萄牙，并在这个国家 寻求工作机会。在葡萄牙生活的中国人通常从事餐饮或小型零售行业。虽然大多 数中国人都能适应在葡萄牙的日常生活，但是在某些方面，如美食或生活习惯及 生活节奏上，他们仍然会面临一些适应困难的问题。 因此，本论文旨在调查在葡萄牙北部工作的中国移民是否适应葡萄牙文 化，从而确定他们最大的困难是什么，并列出一套可能的解决方案，使他们真 正融入葡萄牙社会和适应葡萄牙文化。此外，文化差异也是影响日常生活中人 际关系成败的一个关键因素。因此，本研究还旨在探讨葡萄牙与中国之间的文 化差异，以确定中国移民的文化观念，为华人社区更好地理解和处理与葡萄牙 社区之间的文化差异提供指导。此后，这项研究还将作为中国人适应葡萄牙生 活的指标，并改善两国人民之间的合作。
