A aquisição da competência intercultural por estudantes chineses: um estudo de caso em universidades da China continental e de Macau

Abstract

Esta dissertação centra-se no estudo dos processos de aquisição e desenvolvimento da competência intercultural por parte de alunos das licenciaturas em português, na China, tendo como principal objetivo compreender a importância dada à aquisição da competência intercultural por estudantes chineses de PLE, em universidades da China continental e de Macau. Num primeiro momento, o estudo reflete sobre os conceitos de multiculturalismo e de interculturalismo e analisa a importância da competência intercultural e as maneiras de a desenvolver, tomando como referência situações atuais de ensino-aprendizagem de língua portuguesa na China. Seguidamente, de acordo com os currículos dos cursos de quatro universidades chinesas, e a partir de um estudo de caso com professores e alunos dessas universidades, analisa os métodos usados para desenvolver a competência intercultural no ensino-aprendizagem do português, bem como as vantagens e desvantagens destes métodos, procurando também determinar se há ou não influência do contexto lusófono no grau de desenvolvimento da competência intercultural, através de um estudo comparativo entre as três universidades da China continental e a universidade de Macau. Finalmente, tendo em conta tanto as aportações da bibliografia crítica, como os resultados de investigação empírica realizada, apresenta sugestões no sentido de aperfeiçoar as propostas de formação e de potenciar os conhecimentos e as capacidades dos estudantes chineses de português no domínio específico da competência intercultural.

This dissertation focuses on the study of the processes of acquisition and development of intercultural competence by university students in Portuguese, in China, having as the main objective to understand the importance given to the acquisition of intercultural competence by Chinese students of PLE, in universities of the Mainland China and Macau. At first, the study reflects on the concepts of multiculturalism and interculturalism and analyzes the importance of intercultural competence and the ways to develop it, taking as a reference current situations of Portuguese language teaching and learning in China. Then, according to the course curricula of four Chinese universities and from a case study with professors and students from these universities, it analyzes the methods used to develop intercultural competence in the teaching and learning of Portuguese, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of these methods, also seeking to determine whether or not there is an influence of the Lusophone context on the degree of development of intercultural competence, through a comparative study between the three universities of mainland China and a university of Macau. Finally, taking into account both the contributions of the critical bibliography and the results of empirical research carried out, it presents suggestions to improve the training proposals and to enhance the knowledge and skills of Chinese students of Portuguese in the specific domain of intercultural competence.

本论文以中国大陆和澳门高校的葡萄牙语专业本科学生为研究对象，探索中国高校 葡语学生跨文化交际能力的培养过程，从而了解学生对跨文化交际能力的重视程度。 本论文首先对多元文化主义和跨文化主义的概念进行了反思，并且参考目前中国葡 语教学现状分析了跨文化交际能力的重要性以及培养跨文化交际能力的途径。其次，根 据中国四所大学的课程设置，结合对这些大学的教师和学生进行的案例研究，分析葡语 教学过程中培养跨文化交际能力的方式以及各种方式的优缺点，同时，通过对中国大陆 高校和澳门高校的对比研究来确定葡语环境是否影响跨文化交际能力以及其影响程度。 最后，结合文献中的理论和实际调查的结果提出建议，改进培养方案，以提高中国葡语 学生在跨文化交际领域的知识和技能。
