Roteiro turístico e cultural de Marco de Canaveses - MARCOTUR

Abstract

Na atualidade, em Portugal e na região Norte, o turismo deve ser encarado como um importante motor da economia e do desenvolvimento regional. No entanto, é imperativo que esse crescimento seja feito de uma forma sustentável e tendo como preocupação preservar e potenciar os recursos endógenos, que são a essência dos locais. Como teremos oportunidade de verificar, em Marco de Canaveses existe um conjunto de recursos com potencial turístico tal como, o património edificado, o património natural e o património imaterial. Partindo desta premissa, após analisar o crescimento do turismo nacional e da região Norte, as estratégias e diretivas nacionais e regionais, os recursos endógenos e as novas ferramentas tecnológicas, tendo como objetivo maior contribuir para o desenvolvimento turístico da minha terra natal, entendi desenvolver um projeto que faz o aproveitamento de um circuito existente e apresentar um roteiro de turismo cultural.

Currently, in Portugal and the North, tourism must be seen as an important driver of the economy and regional development. However, this growth must be done in a sustainable way and with the concern to preserve and enhance the endogenous resources, which are the essence of the places. As we will have the opportunity to verify, in Marco de Canaveses there is a set of resources with tourist potential such as the built heritage, the natural heritage and the intangible heritage. Based on this premise, after analyzing the growth of national and northern tourism, national and regional strategies and directives, endogenous resources and new technological tools, with the main objective of contributing to the tourism development of my homeland, I decided to develop a project that takes advantage of an existing circuit and presents a cultural tourism itinerary.
