Vivências acadêmicas do estágio na Universidade Federal de Sergipe

Abstract

Nosso presente estudo busca entender de forma aprofundada a última etapa de formação dos alunos universitários – os estágios curriculares. Trabalhou-se, dentro desta etapa de formação, a perspectiva do estagiário, para entendermos seus interesses e anseios frente a sua formação. Assim, com a hipótese de que existem diferenças significativas entre os estagiários das três áreas estudadas: Ciências Biomédicas, Ciências Sociais e Humanas e, Ciências Exatas e Tecnológicas, procurou-se, a partir de duas amostras distintas de 251 e 98 estagiários da Universidade Federal de Sergipe (UFS), utilizando-se, respectivamente, dois instrumentos de coleta de dados: o Inventário de Vivências e Percepções de Estágio, versão Graduações e o Questionário de Percepções do Estudante sobre a Supervisão de Estágio, visando explorar as principais vivências e percepções da sua formação acadêmica, dando a conhecer alguns dos maiores ganhos e dificuldades quanto às dimensões Sócio-emocionais, Vocacionais, Medo da Futura Profissão, Socialização Profissional e Institucional, Aprendizagem e Desenvolvimento Profissional e, Apoio/Recursos/Supervisão. Na primeira parte da tese, transcorreram-se sobre os aspectos teóricos do estágio, seus principais conceitos, objetivos, modelos, as vivências do estagiário e sua supervisão, presentes na literatura. Também pesquisamos o histórico das normas legais da UFS quanto às práticas de estágio que, em seguida, ampliamos para conhecer a legislação ao nível de Brasil. Na segunda parte, apresentaram-se questões voltadas para as práticas desenvolvidas na UFS, onde os resultados produzidos apontam para a importância ímpar desta etapa de formação e, da relevância do papel da supervisão em todo este processo que, se bem estruturada por profissionais qualificados, possibilita a melhor inserção do jovem profissional no mundo do trabalho.

Our present study aims to understand, in a deepened way, the last step of the university students’ formation – the curricular stages. We worked inside this formation period, the trainee’s perspective, in order to understand their interests and longings concerning their formation. So, with the hypothesis that there are significant differences among the trainees of the three studied areas: Biomedical Sciences, Social and Human Sciences, and Technological and Exact Sciences, it, starting from two different samples of 251 and 98 trainees of the Federal University of Sergipe – FUS, being used, respectively, two instruments of data collection: the Inventory of Experiences and Stage Perception (Graduation Version), and the Questionnaire of Student’s Perceptions about the Stage Supervision, we tried to explore the main experiences and perceptions of his/her academic formation pointing out some of the greatest earnings and difficulties as for the Socialemotional, and Vocational dimensions, Fear of the Future Profession, Professional and Institutional Socialization, Learning and Professional Development, and Support/ Resources/Supervision. In the first part of the thesis, we studied the theoretical aspects of the stage, its main concepts, objectives, models, the trainee’s experiences and his/her supervision, present in the literature. We also researched the legal norms about stage practicing within FUS and then the legislation in Brazil. In the second part, we worked on the subjects related to the practices developed in FUS, where the produced results emphasize the importance of this formation stage and, the relevance of the role of the supervision in the whole process that, if well structured by qualified professionals, makes possible the insertion of the young professional in the labor world.
