Resumo(s)Writing problem stories is a teaching methodology whose main objectives are: allowing children to pose problems and to write stories and therefore to integrate the two main subject areas of the curriculum, language and mathematics. With it we intended to promote the development of creative writing, textual understanding, problem solving, problem posing and reflective and creative thinking. The non-routine problems were used in order to maximize varied and creative strategies of solving problems, allowing students to apply their knowledge in posing problems activities.
