Apoio a jovens futebolistas chineses: contexto e soluções

Abstract

As relações luso-chinesas estão a atravessar, porventura, o seu melhor momento histórico. Consequentemente, o grau de intercâmbio empresarial e cultural entre os dois países aumenta dia após dia. O contexto desportivo não foge a este padrão, sendo o futebol português cada vez mais visto na China como um exemplo a seguir, no qual as duas partes podem obter benefícios mútuos. O Sporting Clube de Braga recebe pela primeira vez na sua história um grande grupo de jogadores adolescentes oriundos de Qinhuangdao que vêm a Portugal para realizarem o sonho de aprender na Europa e tornarem-se jogadores profissionais de futebol. É neste contexto que se realiza o meu estágio, tratando-se de preparar e encontrar soluções que beneficiem os jogadores na sua adaptação ao país, e, posteriormente, ajudar os jovens em vários contextos da sua vida, não só como tradutor mas também como auxiliar e guia sempre pronto a ajudar. Este Relatório apresenta a história de futebol e o seu papel nas sociedades chinesa e portuguesa de hoje, como um foco no recém-desenvolvimento de intercâmbio nesta área desportiva entre a China e Portugal, e uma comparação entre as duas culturas em relação à educação, seguida de uma descrição sobre o estágio realizado na área de futebol para apoiar a comunicação dos jovens julgadores chineses com o ambiente local. Apresenta-se uma proposta de um documento ilustrado bilingue de designações para servir como o primeiro apoio linguístico para este tipo de formação no contexto intercultural.

The relations between Portugal and China are going through its best historical moment. As a result, the amount of business and cultural exchanges between the two countries are increasing day by day. The sportive context does not escape this pattern, since Portuguese football is increasingly seen by China as an example to follow, in which the two parties can obtain mutual benefits. Sporting Club of Braga receives for the first time in its history a large group of adolescent players from Qinhuangdao who come to Portugal to accomplish their dream of learning in Europe and becoming professional football players. It is in this context that my internship takes place, which is to prepare and find solutions that will benefit the players in their adaptation to the country, and later to help them in various contexts of their life, not only as a translator but also as an auxiliary and guide who is always ready to help. This Report presents the history of football and its role in today's Chinese and Portuguese societies, with a focus on the newly developed exchanges in this field between China and Portugal, and a comparison between the two cultures, followed by a description of my internship to support the communication of young Chinese football players with the local environment. A proposal is presented for a bilingual illustrated vocabulary list to serve as the first language support for this type of training in the intercultural context.
