A inclusão dos instrumentos da música tradicional nos conteúdos programáticos do ensino vocacional da percussão

Abstract

Esta investigação desenvolvida no contexto do Estágio Profissional enquadrado no Mestrado do Ensino da Música na Universidade Do Minho procura enriquecer e complementar a aprendizagem dos alunos de percussão, com a inserção de diferentes materiais didáticos. Desta forma, A Inclusão dos Instrumentos de Música Tradicional nos Conteúdos Programáticos no Ensino Vocacional da Percussão emerge para contribuir a redarguir a problemática do preceito no ensino destes instrumentos. Assim, a nível empírico, com a introdução destes tipos de instrumentos que figuram no património musical português, por vezes preteridos, visa-se aguçar a curiosidade dos alunos na prática e estudo destes instrumentos, explicando o seu mecanismo organológico, as respetivas técnicas de execução e o seu contexto sociocultural. Deste modo, ao fomentar a descoberta pela cultura tradicional portuguesa, os estudantes são incentivados a estimar e a valorizar este tipo de música que lhes pertence. Inferiu-se ainda que a aprendizagem de instrumentos tradicionais de percussão permitiu, para além do conhecimento específico da temática, aprimorar aspetos técnicos e estilísticos gerais da performance dos alunos.

This research developed in the context of the Professional Internship within the Master of Music Teaching at the University of Minho seeks to enrich and complement the student's percussion learning, with the insertion of different didactic materials. This way, The Inclusion of the Instruments of Traditional Music in the Programmatic Contents in the Vocational Teaching of the Percussion emerges to contribute to solve the problematic of the precept in the teaching of these instruments. Thus, at the empirical level, with the introduction of these types of instruments that appear in the Portuguese musical heritage, sometimes deprecated, it is aimed at stimulating students' curiosity in the practice and study of these instruments, explaining their organological mechanism, their execution techniques and its sociocultural context. Therefore, by encouraging the discovery of the tradicional Portuguese culture, the students were given an incentive to cherish and value the music that belongs to them. It was also inferred that the learning of tradicional percussion musical instruments allow the improvement of general technical and stylistic aspects of student’s perfomances, in addition to the specific knowledge about the subject.
