Resumo(s): | O presente documento consiste num relatório reflexivo, resultante de uma intervenção
pedagógica de cariz investigativo em contexto escolar, realizado no âmbito da unidade curricular
de Prática de Ensino Supervisionada, frequentada no 2º ano do Mestrado em Ensino do 1º Ciclo
do Ensino Básico e de Português e História e Geografia de Portugal do 2º Ciclo do Ensino Básico,
da Universidade do Minho. O tema selecionado para objeto de estudo foi O roleplaying como
estratégia para o ensino das migrações – relato de experiências no 1.º e no 2.º Ciclo do Ensino
Básico visando conciliar as perspetivas pedagógicas de ensino-aprendizagem com a vertente de
investigação.
Com este projeto pretendeu-se perceber de que forma a implementação da estratégia do
roleplaying orientada para o estudo das migrações, pode aumentar a motivação dos alunos, bem
como, contribuir para a compreensão de uma temática específica de História e Geografia, nos 1º
e 2º Ciclo do Ensino Básico.
O presente estudo seguiu o paradigma construtivista do processo de ensinoaprendizagem.
Desta forma, foram implementadas atividades relacionadas com a exploração e
levantamento das ideias prévias dos alunos, partindo do mundo concetual dos mesmos, com o
intuito de os ajudar a reformular ou aprofundar as suas ideias; a exploração e o tratamento de
conteúdos históricos/geográficos com caraterísticas de investigação-ação e o trabalho cooperativo.
O projeto foi desenvolvido em duas escolas de Ensino Particular e Cooperativo localizadas
na Póvoa de Varzim. Relativamente ao 2º ciclo do ensino básico, o estudo foi realizado numa turma
do 6º ano de escolaridade com 23 alunos, desenvolvendo-se um conjunto de atividades orientadas
para as migrações na segunda metade do século XIX; em relação ao 1º ciclo do ensino básico, o
mesmo decorreu numa turma do 4º ano de escolaridade com 24 alunos, dando-se enfoque às
migrações decorrentes em Portugal e na Europa, na atualidade.
Esta investigação permitiu concluir que o recurso ao roleplaying como estratégia de estudo
promoveu para o aumento da motivação dos alunos, bem como, para a compreensão da temática
em questão. As atividades pedagógicas revelaram-se uma mais-valia para o contexto educativo,
pois potenciaram o desenvolvimento de aprendizagens importantes, mas também a ocorrência de
vivências significativas, tanto por parte dos alunos como por parte dos professores. This document consists of a reflective report, resulting from a pedagogical intervention of an investigative nature in a school context, carried out within the scope of the Supervised Teaching Practice course, attended in the 2nd year of the Master's Degree in Teaching of the 1st Cycle of Basic Education and of Portuguese and History and Geography of Portugal of the 2nd Cycle of Basic Education, University of Minho. The theme selected for study object was roleplaying as a strategy for the teaching of migrations - report of experiences in the 1st and 2nd cycle of Basic Education aiming to reconcile the pedagogical perspectives of teaching and learning with the research component. The aim of this project is to understand how the implementation of the roleplaying strategy oriented to the study of migrations can increase students' motivation and contribute to the understanding of a specific theme of History and Geography in the 1st and 2nd Basic Cycle of Education. The present study followed the constructivist paradigm of the teaching-learning process. In this way, activities related to the exploration and survey of students' previous ideas were implemented, starting from their conceptual world, in order to help them to reformulate or deepen their ideas; the exploration and treatment of historical / geographic contents with research-action characteristics and cooperative work. The project was developed in two schools of Private and Cooperative Education located in Póvoa de Varzim. As regards the 2nd cycle of basic education, the study was carried out in a group of 6th year of schooling with 23 students, developing a set of activities oriented to migrations in the second half of the nineteenth century; in relation to the 1st cycle of basic education, the same happened in a group of the 4th year of schooling with 24 students, focusing on the migrations that are occurring in Portugal and Europe, nowadays. This investigation allowed to conclude that the use of roleplaying as a study strategy promoted to increase students' motivation as well as to the understanding of the theme in question. The pedagogical activities proved to be an added value for the educational context, since they fostered the development of important learning, but also the occurrence of significant experiences, both by the students and by the teachers. |
