Introdução à música contemporânea no ensino vocacional de clarinete

Abstract

O presente projeto de intervenção pedagógica insere-se no âmbito da unidade curricular do estágio profissional do 2º ano do ciclo de estudos, conducente ao grau de Mestre em Ensino de Música, no ano letivo 2015/2016. O projeto foi implementado na Academia de Música Valentim Moreira de Sá (Guimarães), em dois alunos do nível básico e dois alunos do complementar da classe de clarinete, e tem como principal finalidade a criação de um Método de iniciação à Linguagem Musical Contemporânea Após um percurso musical, adjacente a uma investigação detalhada, constatou-se que, em Portugal, a existência de métodos de clarinete introdutórios à temática é nula. Deste modo, pretende-se criar um método com exercícios progressivos dedicados à linguagem contemporânea para aplicar no nível básico e complementar do ensino vocacional de música. O interesse por esta temática surge devido ao facto dos programas pedagógicos das diversas academias e conservatórios não contemplarem o repertório contemporâneo e considerando importante que a sua prática desde cedo contribui para um melhor desenvolvimento musical. A não abordagem, ou abordagem tardia do repertório contemporâneo poderá limitar a compreensão e execução desta linguagem musical. Deste modo, elaborou-se um questionário com o objetivo de captar o grau de entendimento sobre o estilo de música em questão, procedeu-se à aplicação do método de introdução à música contemporânea nas aulas lecionadas e para finalizar realizou-se outro questionário para avaliar o nível de evolução dos alunos relativamente à temática da música contemporânea. Em suma, com este método pretende-se introduzir conceitos da música dos séculos XX e XXI nos alunos do nível básico e complementar para que tomem conhecimento destas novas técnicas numa fase precoce do seu desenvolvimento enquanto clarinetistas. Considero adequada a utilização de excertos de obras de referência do repertório clarinetístico destes períodos, pois poderá estimular o aluno a praticar a obra e a ouvi-la na íntegra. Assim, um dia que o aluno ingresse no Ensino Superior e que lhe seja pedido para tocar uma destas obras, terá com certeza uma melhor base para as executar.

The non-approach, or late approach of the contemporary repertoire may limit the understanding and execution of this musical language. In this way, a questionnaire was elaborated with the objective of capturing the degree of understanding about the style of music in question, it was applied the method of introduction to contemporary music in the classes taught and to finalize another questionnaire was done to evaluate the level of student evolution relatively to contemporary music. In short, with this method, We intend to introduce concepts of music of the 20s and 21s in elementary and middle school so that they could learn about these new techniques at an early stage of their development as clarinetists. It is considered appropriate to use excerpts from reference works of the clarinet repertoire of these periods, as it may encourage the student to practice the work and listen to it in its entirety. Thus, one day the student enters Higher Education and is asked to play one of these works, he will already have the basics/fundamentals to start studying.
