Monitorização e conservação preventiva do património histórico: o projeto HeritageCARE

Abstract

A monitorização e conservação preventiva do Património edificado têm recebido um crescente interesse na comunidade técnica e científica. Contudo, não existe em Portugal ou no Sudoeste da Europa uma estratégia conjunta que ajude na implementação destas ações, nem tão pouco sensibilize os proprietários para conservação preventiva, resultando em dificuldades acrescidas para os proprietários na manutenção do seu património. É neste contexto que surge o Projeto HeritageCare - Monitorização e Conservação Preventiva do Património Histórico e Cultural. Neste artigo apresentam-se os principais objetivos do projeto, bem como a metodologia para a implementação de um sistema de gestão para a conservação preventiva. A metodologia incluirá, entre outros, um conjunto de inspeções periódicas aos edifícios, levantamentos tridimensionais com integração de informação útil para a conservação preventiva, com recurso à geomática e a utilização de metodologias BIM. O Projeto culminará com a constituição de uma entidade sem fins lucrativos que concretizará essa metodologia em Portugal, Espanha e Sul de França.

The monitoring and preventive conservation of the built heritage is increasingly raising attention and interest in the technical and scientific community. However, there is no common strategy in Portugal or Southern Europe towards the implementation or raising awareness of owners to preventive conservation, resulting in many difficulties from the owners to maintain their heritage. The HeritageCare Project has raised in response to such context, targeting ‘Monitoring and Preventive Conservation of the Historical and Cultural Heritage’. This paper presents the main objectives of the Project, as well as the methodology for the implementation of a management system for the preventive conservation. The system will include, among others, a set of periodic inspections, three dimensional surveys using geomatics, BIM and will culminate in the creation of a non-profit entity that will implement such methodology in Portugal, Spain and South of France.
