Tipologia de serviços e projetos de tecnologias e sistemas de informação

Abstract

São diversos os tipos de serviços e projetos da área das tecnologias e sistemas de informação, incluindo o desenvolvimento de software à medida, a implementação de pacotes de software, a consultoria, a implementação de infraestruturas, entre outros. Apesar de existirem alguns trabalhos que procuram fazer a tipificação destes serviços e projetos, na realidade não existe uma tipologia desenvolvida com uma base científica rigorosa. Assim, a presente dissertação tem por finalidade a proposta de uma nova tipologia de serviços e projetos de tecnologias e sistemas de informação, tendo por referência a prática efetiva nas organizações. Para o desenvolvimento da presente dissertação foi adotada a metodologia Field Research. Numa primeira fase o trabalho realizado consistiu principalmente na revisão de literatura, tendo sido procurada e sintetizada literatura de referência sobre os diversos tipos de serviços e projetos enquadráveis na área das tecnologias e sistemas de informação. Nesta fase foram também identificadas as empresas a estudar com vista à recolha de dados e definido o processo de análise de dados. Na segunda fase do trabalho recolheram-se os dados e realizou-se a análise dos dados, a qual deu origem a uma nova tipologia de serviços e projetos de tecnologias de sistemas de informação. Com os resultados da presente dissertação espera-se contribuir para colmatar a lacuna existente no que toca respeito à tipificação dos serviços/projetos de TSI.

In the area of information technology and systems there are several types of projects and services, including custom software development projects, implementation of software packages, consulting and infrastructure implementation, among others. Although there are some works that aim to typify these projects, we could not find a typology developed with a rigorous scientific basis. This dissertation proposes a new typology of projects and services of technologies and information systems, grounded on the effective practice in organizations. For the development of the present dissertation the methodology adopted was the Field Research. In this first phase the work consisted on the literature review, having been searched and synthesized the reference literature on the various types of services and projects within the area of information technology and information systems. Were also identified the companies to be studied in order to collect data, and the data analysis process was defined. In the second phase of the work were collected the data and analyzed the data, that gave rise to a new typology of services and projects of information systems technologies. The results of this dissertation contribute to the existing gap regarding the typification of TSI services/projects.
