This paper introduces the latest prototype developed by the Adaptive System Behaviour Group, after six years of research and clinical trials. The prototype named ASBGo++ (Plus Plus) Smart Walker presents new mechatronic and ergonomic design improvements. This paper also presents a brief overview analysis through a mechatronic point of view with an analogy between the smart walkers developed in an academic environment that most resemble the ABSGo++. This overview enhances the positive aspects of this smart walker emphasizing the features that are most highlighted in its design, structure, and functionality.por
