dc.description.abstract | The use of BIM methodology has shown a high growth, however, so far, this concept has not been properly explored with regard to thermal-energy buildings analysis. This phase, involving in particular the engineer and the architect, is one of the most important phases in the development of a sustainable and thermally effective project. In order to put the design phase on a new level, with regard to the BIM methodology, namely the BIM 6D, it was tried to introduce the benefits and qualities of this methodology, encouraging the use of the methods of thermo-energy analysis of this methodology instead of the traditional techniques recommended by the current regulation of energy analysis. For the accomplishment of this dissertation the Utopia building was used, whose solid or similar residues were used in its construction. This building will be compared to two other "sustainable" solutions. Thus, it will be possible to test the main qualities and at the same time perceive the BIM methodology in the thermo-energy analysis. In this dissertation it is proposed the interaction between simplified initial models and final models in order to validate these models in the thermo-energy analysis. The results show that the use of BIM 6D is an interesting approach that, although still in an initial state of development since the amount of information related to this subject is still not significant, the internal sending sometimes becomes slow, as well as the lack of interaction between european rules and regulations with these types of programs hinders the potential of these programs, especially at the level of final energy certification. | por |
