A lógica do desmedido como traumatologia do ser – Martin Heidegger e Günther Anders

Abstract

Segundo Heidegger, a orientação no desmedido é uma consequência da história da metafísica e, daí, uma consequência do crescente esquecimento do Ser. Mais especificamente, a orientação no desmedido é a manifestação por assim dizer lógica da falta de medida que, a meu ver, se prende essencialmente com o topos da ‘quadrindade’ e o eminente perigo da sua ‘desarticulação’ e assim com a consequente impossibilitação do seu acontecer. Sintoma desta desarticulação é o crescente esvaziamento da quadrindade, i.e. o aparecimento da falta dos seus quatro elementos. Embora Günther Anders seja um leitor crítico de Heidegger, penso que é frutífero ler algumas partes da sua obra como um complemento interessante da análise do fenómeno do desmedido e da falta de medida, principalmente no que diz respeito à falta dos mortais. Segundo Anders, o desmedido que se manifesta nos sintomas da ‘vergonha prometeica’ e da criação da bomba atómica conduz precisamente à aniquilação do homem como ser mortal. A justaposição e comparação das reflexões de Heidegger e Anders têm o intuito de lançar alguma luz sobre a ‘lógica oculta’ do fenómeno do desmedido e da falta de medida. Defender-se-á a tese da traumatologia inerente ao combate entre desmedido e medida, uma traumatologia que mais se assemelha a uma traumatologia do ser do que uma traumatologia psicológica.

According to Heidegger, the guidance in ‘dismeasure’ is a consequence of the history of metaphysics and, hence, a consequence of the growing forgetfulness of Being. More specifically, the guidance in dismeasure is the logical manifestation of the lack of measure that, in my view, mainly relates to the topic of the ‘fourfold’ and the imminent danger of its ‘disarticulation’, and, by that, to the consequent disabling of its happening. The symptom of this disarticulation is the increasing emptying of the fourfold, i.e. the appearance of the lack of all its four elements. Although Günther Anders is a critical reader of Heidegger, I think it is fruitful to read parts of his work as an interesting complement to the analysis of the phenomenon of dismeasure and lack of measure, especially with regard to the lack of the mortals. According to Anders, the dismeasure manifested in the symptoms of ‘Promethean shame’ and the production of the atomic bomb leads precisely to the annihilation of man as a mortal. The juxtaposition and comparison of Heidegger’s and Anders’ reflexions shall throw some light on the ‘hidden logic’ of the phenomenon of the excessive and the lack of measure. I shall defend the thesis of an inherent traumatology in the combat between measure and dismeasure, a traumatology that resembles more an ontological than a psychological traumatology.
