Estudos comparativos sobre as atitudes de procriação nos contextos chinês e português (1973-2013)

Abstract

A questão da população desempenha um papel essencial na existência e no desenvolvimento da sociedade humana, sendo a atitude perante a procriação uma parte importante nesta questão, uma vez que influencia diretamente o número da população. A atitude face à procriação inclui uma série de questões: o número ideal de filhos; a preferência do sexo dos filhos; o calendário da maternidade, etc. Nos últimos 40 anos, em virtude da transformação política, do desenvolvimento económico e do avanço social, as situações de procriação têm mudado nos contextos chinês e português, causando novos problemas sociais, tais como o envelhecimento, a mudança da estrutura familiar, entre outros. Neste trabalho, através da comparação da mudança de atitudes perante a procriação ocorridas na China e em Portugal nos últimos 40 anos, abordaremos as motivações para essas mudanças, do ponto de vista político, económico, social e cultural.

The population problematic is essential for the existence and development of human society. Whereas people’s desire of giving birth is one of the most important factors, which has a direct impact on the population and can be divided into the following aspects: the desired quantity of children, the gender of preference, ideal childbearing age, etc. In the last four decades, due to the political reform, economic development and social progress, the situation of childbirth in China and Portugal has undertaken a lot of changes, thus appearing a series of new problems, such as the aging of population, the new structure of family, and so forth. Taking the two peoples’ desire to have children as a starting point, and by comparing and analyzing the possible causes which led to the change of their desire in the last forty years, the writer will try , immediately afterwards, to present political, economic, social, religious, cultural and other aspects of the two countries, that contributed to that change.

人口问题是人类社会得以存在和发展的根本性问题，而生育意愿又是其中的重要 方面，对人口数量有着直接影响。生育意愿包含以下一系列具体问题：生育子女 的理想数目; 是否对所生育子女存在性别偏好; 生育子女的时期等等。 近四十年来，受政治变革、经济发展、社会进步等原因的影响，中葡两国人民的 生育情况发生了巨大变化，并出现了一系列的新情况和新问题。例如人口老龄化， 传统家庭结构的变化等问题。 本文以人们的生育意愿为切入点，通过对比近四十年来中葡两国人们生育意愿的 变化及分析其可能的原因，进而展现两国在政治、经济、社会、文化等方面的风 貌。
