A importância de uma embocadura eficiente no processo de ensino- aprendizagem da trompete

Abstract

O presente Relatório de Estágio insere-se no âmbito do Estágio Profissional do Mestrado em Ensino de Música da Universidade do Minho no ano letivo 2015/2016, tendo como tema a importância de uma Embocadura Eficiente no Processo de Ensino-Aprendizagem da Trompete. Este foi realizado no Conservatório de Música de Barcelos, com alunos dos contextos de instrumento (Trompete) e contexto de Música de Conjunto (Orquestra de Sopros). O projeto teve como principais objetivos recolher informações dos alunos e do professor orientador cooperante, sobre a embocadura, através da observação das aulas; identificar as principais dificuldades sentidas pelos alunos; realizar exercícios para desenvolver a embocadura; contribuir para o seu estudo individual e para a sua autonomia com sugestões pedagógicas; e sensibilizar para a importância do trabalho da embocadura para a sua performance musical. Neste sentido foram utilizados nesta intervenção exercícios do livro Atmung - Stütze - Ansatz - (ASA) Methode für Trompete de Rolf Quinque (2013). A metodologia de investigação utilizada baseou-se na Investigação-Ação, permitindo a observação, a recolha de dados, através da utilização de diferentes ferramentas, como grelhas de observação e questionários. Com o recurso a estas ferramentas foi possível verificar que os alunos adquiriram os conhecimentos abordados sobre a temática, que demonstraram interesse pelo uso destes exercícios no seu estudo diário, tendo percebido a importância do trabalho diário da embocadura para o seu percurso académico e profissional enquanto trompetistas.

The present Internship Report developed within the scope of the Teacher Training Practice component of Minho University Master of Music Education in the academic year 2015/2016, focused on the importance of an Efficient Mouthpiece in the Teaching-Learning Process of Trumpet. This project was performed at the Conservatório de Música de Barcelos with students of the instrumental context (Trumpet) and the Ensemble Music context (Wind Orchestra). The main goals of the project were to gather information from the students and the cooperating professor on embouchure, through the observation of the classes; to identify the students’ main difficulties; to perform exercises to develop embouchure; to contribute to their individual study and autonomy with pedagogical suggestions; and alert for the importance of embouchure work for their musical performance. Therefore, the exercises used in this intervention were withdrawn from the book Atmung - Stütze - Ansatz - (ASA) Methode für Trompete by Rolf Quinque (2013). The research methodology used was based on Action-Research, allowing observation, data collection, using different instruments, such as observation grids and questionnaires. With the use of these instruments was possible to verify that the students’ knowledge about the subject was acquired, having demonstrated interest in using these exercises in their daily study and understood the importance of daily work of their embouchure for their academic and professional career as trumpeters.
