(projeto mecatrónico) do tribómetro linear.
permita realizar o controlo automático do tribómetro linear.
This project consists in the development and optimization of an existing equipment at Universidade do Minho, denominated linear tribometer, used for the analysis of friction coeficient in flexible materials. Initially the analysis is focused on the functioning principles of the equipment, where all its constituents and its theoretical concepts are revised. After the first phase, a possible mechanic, electronic and informatic optimization (mechatronic project) of the linear tribometer are studied. In order to do so, all the necessary elements required for an adequate linear tribometer functioning with precision and repeatability shall be analized aswell as a study on the benefits of its implementation. The electronic segment require the implementation of a controling system in the DC engine (responsible for the table’s linear movement), using a H bridge, so it is possible through a digital exit regulate/adjust diferent movement speeds for the linear table. The informatic segment require the conception and development of a program using the platform LabVIEW, that can acquire, visualize, treat and register the data, ultimately performing the linear tribometer automatic control. It is also intended to perform validation trials resorting to different deformable and rigid materials, in order to assess its precision and repeatability regarding the friction coeficient measurement whilst assessing its wear. |
