QECR.
"Language" and "Literature" are two inseparable concepts, in the sense that one cannot separate language teaching of literature teaching (and vice-versa). Nowadays, this issue is starting to be discussed not only in the context of teaching MT, but also in the teaching of FL. Specifically, in the case of the FL, the learner, having reached a high learning level, should be in contact with different textual types in order to have a complete picture on the different realities and potential that language has. In fact, with the emergence of the communicative methods of a FL's teaching-learning, the literary text is starting to be seen has a text type that, besides the linguistic objectives it has, might improve a student's emotional response to the language that is being learned, while also improving their rational capabilities. In turn, the teacher should try to have diverse didactic materials, besides the traditional textbook, capturing the students interest, wherein the didactization of a suitable literary text to level of the students is sure to be a good bet. Thus, this dissertation aims to develop an innovative methodology, with a proposal of didactization of the short-story "Saga" by the Portuguese author Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen, that might be implemented in future pedagogical practices, such as the teachinglearning of PFL in the levels B2/B2+ (of the CEFR). The obtained results show that the literary text can develop several specific competencies, them being communicative competencies, present in the CEFR, and the linguistic, intercultural, and literary competencies of the learners. Through this type text, we can as well advertise the cultural and literary heritage of our country. |
