The present report has been elaborated in the context of Professional Training Internship of the Master’s degree in Teaching Information Technology leading to professional qualification for teaching Basic Education (3rd Cycle) and Secondary Education and its purpose is to present the Project of the Supervised Pedagogical Intervention, streamlined in the class of the 10th year of Vocational Course of Technical Management of Computer Equipment, course given at the Secondary School Mouzinho da Silveira, in Portalegre. The theme of the Project, selected after the direct observation of the class, and identification of gaps in the teaching/learning process, relates to the intention to assess the contribution that web 2.0 tools can give to the teacher in terms of motivation and immersion of students in professional courses in computer literacy. In this way, the Intervention Project that gave rise to this report was an investigative and experimental pedagogical strategy, moved by the need to respond to the understanding of what the best strategies are to motivate and engage students in a considered non-regular a school (notorious negatively by some) in order to achieve educational success. Furthermore, this report enhances the effectiveness of digital tools of web 2.0, the best way to use them, and last but not the least, also in student’s immersion and motivation. Strategies of constructivist approach supported by observation in real time classes were designed and conceived, in tandem with regulatory documents of teaching/learning process and on current and relevant literature, centering on the autonomy, collaboration and cooperation in the classroom in order to engage and motivate the student to be an active agent in the construction of her/his learning(s). The results demonstrate a positive evaluation in terms of the plan of action and the strategies implemented, showing the advantages of the use of web 2.0 tools within the students class concerned. However, the intervention also suited to understand that technologies must work, mainly, as a means to an end, and also to draw explanatory conclusions about the importance of the teacher to endue a reflexive and malleable posture in his/her professional practice. |
