The child and play: between the thought world and the world lived

Abstract

The project investigates two dimensions of play: one rational and othcr phenomenological. Search the reprcsenhttions tbat children and adults hnvc about tbc object, in ordcr to know tbcm. The approach is qualitative in tbe ctbnographic type. Tbc instmments for data collection will bc not-structured intet-views, fihning and fi eld daily. Tbe intertn·etation will he performcd from thc analysis's content. Thc subjects are cbildren 4-6 yeat-s and teacbers of a scbool for early cbildbood education from 8.-aga-J>t. We will estimate a systematic representatloos about playing building a taxonomy of knowledge tbat provides ao understanding of the pbeuomeoon.

O projeto investiga duas dimensões do brincar: uma racional e outra fenomenológica. Pesquisa as representações que crianças e adultos tem sobre o objeto, objetivando conhecê-las. Acreditamos que há diferenças profundas entre as representações das crianças e adultos e que as manifestações que “aparecem” nas práticas de brincar e se movimentar em liberdade das e entre as crianças são predominantemente ontológicas, existenciais e fenomenológicas. A abordagem é qualitativa do tipo etnográfica. Os instrumentos de recolha de dados serão entrevistas semi-estruturadas, diário de campo e filmagens. A interpretação será efetuada a partir da análise de conteúdo. Os sujeitos são crianças de 4 a 6 anos e professores de uma escola de Educação Infantil de Braga-Pt. Estimamos sistematizar as representações sobre brincar construindo uma taxionomia de saberes que forneça o entendimento do fenômeno.
