Reconhecimento do parcelar agrícola como estrutura e como definidor de limite no território do Rio Ave

Abstract

O seguinte trabalho tem como objectivo desvendar como se caracteriza e como se estrutura o espaço parcelar agrícola, no território do Vale do Ave. Perante um território que é recorrentemente “observado” a partir das suas lógicas de organização do “construído”, no qual se remete como espaço “vazio”, as áreas agrícolas, as áreas florestais e arbóreas, etc., em suma, todo o espaço “não construído”. Pretende-se estudar o parcelar agrícola como estrutura e como define limite, neste território. Para o seu estudo, que se baseia numa análise feita através da observação e interpretação de imagens cartográficas existentes, e no reconhecimento in situ, do lugar, determinam-se quatro fases de análise. Estas abordam os seguintes temas: estrutura e componentes do território do Rio Ave; estrutura do parcelar agrícola no território; caracterização dos limites do parcelar agrícola e por último, o sentido de lugar como experiência.

The folowing work aims to reveal how the space of agriculture parceling is characterized and structured in the Valey of Ave territory. In a territory that is many times “observed” from the principals of the organization through of what is “built”, and in which agriculture, forest areas and everything considered “non built” is relegated to “empty space”. It is aimed to study the parceling system as a structure and as a limit definer in this territory. For its study there are four stages of analysis determined, based on analysis made through the observation and interpretation of existing cartigraphic images and in situ observations. These observations approach the folowing themes: Structure of the agriculture parcels in the landscape; Characterization of the limits of the agriculture parceling and lastly the sence of place as experience.
