Projeto Um computador por aluno no Brasil

Abstract

Para favorecer, nas escolas, o acesso à informação e a inclusão digital, muitos países têm distribuído laptops educacionais a seus alunos. No Brasil, o Programa Um Computador por Aluno (ProUCA) completou seis anos em 2012. Nesse período, as necessidades, as possibilidades e os desafios foram surgindo e, com eles, novos espaços para pesquisas e contribuições para incentivar e promover o uso desse recurso como apoio ao processo educacional, à inclusão digital e ao social. Assim, este estudo tem o propósito de apresentar um breve histórico da implantação do programa brasileiro e reunir as pesquisas dele advindas desse Programa entre 2007 e 2012. Foi possível constatar que a introdução dos laptops educacionais nas escolas trouxe algumas vantagens educacionais, mas que ainda existem dificuldades a serem superadas.

To facilitate, in schools, access to information and digital inclusion, many countries have distributed educational laptops to their students. In Brazil, the Program One Computer per Student (ProUCA) completes six years in 2012. During this period, the needs, possibilities and challenges have emerged, and with them, new spaces for research and contributions to encourage and promote the use of this feature as a support to the educational process, digital inclusion and social. Thus, this study aims to present a brief history of the implementation of the Program and meet the Brazilian research resulting from this program between 2007 and 2012. It was found that the introduction of educational laptops in schools brought some educational advantages, but there are still many problems that need to be overcome
