Repositório de questões de química do 9º ano: planeamento de uma plataforma online

Abstract

No processo ensino-aprendizagem a inclusão das Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação desenvolve novas formas de aprender, de ensinar e de pensar. O presente trabalho teve como finalidade a criação de um “Repositório de questões de química do 9º ano”. A abordagem incidiu sobre o tema “Viver Melhor na Terra”, previsto para o 9º ano de escolaridade, nomeadamente o capítulo “Classificação dos materiais”. Pretende-se facultar aos docentes de Ciências Físico-Química um banco de questões, futuramente disponivel numa plataforma online, uma vez que o acesso a este tipo de ferramentas de trabalho ou é escasso ou mesmo inexistente. Ao longo desta pesquisa, foram desenvolvidos vários materiais, mais especificamente 510 questões, bem como a sua respetiva resolução, subdivididas nos três subcapítulos do tema alvo de estudo. Foi também feita uma subdivisão por tipo e grau de dificuldade da questão. Nesse sentido, foi efetuada, numa primeira parte, uma revisão bibliográfica, onde a abordagem incidiu no papel da educação e na classificação de questões. A amostra neste estudo, realizado através da aplicação de três testes, é constituída por 59 alunos do 9º ano de escolaridade. Os resultados desta investigação permitiram verificar que os discentes respondem melhor às questões de seleção e revelam maiores dificuldades nas que assentam na utilização de cálculos e formulação de resposta aberta. As modificações realizadas em função dos resultados da avaliação, feita por professores de Ciências Físico-Químicas, poderá contribuir para melhorar o processo de ensino e aprendizagem, utilizando recursos pedagógicos como são os repositórios de questões. A disponibilização desta ferramenta abre a porta a que professores a testem com alunos reais para que, com o respetivo feedback, se possa melhorar ainda mais.

In the teaching-learning process the inclusion of Information and Communication Technologies develops new ways of learning, teaching and thinking. This study intended to create a "repository of chemical issues for the 9th grade." The approach was focused on the theme "Better Living on Earth”, scheduled for the 9th grade, specially the Chapter which talks about the Classification of materials. Its purpose was to provide a bank of issues to teachers of Physics and Chemistry, that will be available in an online platform in the future, since access to such tools or work is scarce or nonexistent. During this research, different materials have been developed, about 510 issues, divided into three subchapters based on the study’s theme, as well as their respective resolution. There was also a subdivision based on different types of issues and degrees of difficulty. In this sense a bibliographic revision was made and the approach was focused on the role of education and the issues classification. The sample of this study was based on the application of three tests on students of the 9th grade. The results of this research showed that the students give better answers to issues of selection but they have more difficulties on issues based on the application of calculation and the formulation of open answers. The changes, made after the evaluation done by the teachers of Physics and Chemistry, will contribute to improve the teaching-learning process of these sciences by using teaching resources such as the repositories issues. This tool allows teachers to test it with real students and to give us some feedback having in mind further improvements.
