Reorganização do ambiente físico de aprendizagem como resposta aos interesses emergentes das crianças

Abstract

O presente relatório pretende apresentar a intervenção realizada em torno da dimensão pedagógica espaço e materiais, em contexto de creche e jardim-de-infância. O principal objetivo da intervenção nestes contextos foi melhorar o ambiente físico de aprendizagem nas salas de atividade, para responder aos interesses das crianças. O processo de intervenção num e noutro contexto partiu da observação do espaço das salas e da sua utilização pelas crianças. A identificação de alguns problemas levou à escolha da dimensão espaço e materiais. As estratégias de intervenção em creche focaram-se no reapetrechamento e dinamização da área dos livros e na criação de uma área da música. Em contexto de jardim-de-infância, a identificação de um interesse das crianças pela escrita suscitou a introdução de diversos materiais de escrita em várias áreas da sala, de forma a proporcionar experiências e atividades diversificadas neste domínio. O projeto de intervenção desenvolvido permitiu tomar consciência da importância da organização do espaço e materiais pedagógicos, como estrutura de oportunidades de jogo e aprendizagem em contextos de Educação de Infância, respondendo aos interesses das crianças e às suas necessidades de segurança e bem-estar.

This report intends to describe the intervention held around the pedagogical dimension of space and materials, in the context of preschool and crèche. The main objective of the intervention in these contexts was to improve the learning physical environment in classrooms to respond to the interests of children. The intervention process in the context of space came from observation of the rooms and their use by children. Identifying some problems led to the choice of material and space pedagogical dimension. The intervention strategies in crèche instead focused on upgrading and enhancing book area, as well as in creating an area of music. In the context of preschool, the identification of a child interest by writing revealed the introduction of various written materials in many areas of the room to provide diversified activities and experiences in this. The intervention project developed allowed the awareness of the importance of the organization of space and materials as structure of play and learning opportunities in childhood education contexts, responding to the interests of children and their needs of security and wellbeing.
