Animação teatral na construção de identidade local : o impacto do grupo teatral do Centro de Recreio Popular de Arnelas na comunidade

Abstract

Esta investigação tem como objeto a dimensão individual e comunitária da Animação Teatral (AT). Os objetivos, por seu lado, visam aferir a importância da AT na construção de identidade pessoal e local. Para tal, procedeu-se a um estudo de caso no Centro de Recreio Popular de Arnelas (C.R.P.A.), através da análise documental (atas e relatórios) bem como da aplicação de um questionário. Dos resultados obtidos, ao longo da investigação ficou patente a existência de uma relação entre a coletividade e a comunidade, que através da animação sociocultural e da animação teatral lhes permitiu adquirirem competências pessoais, sociais e culturais e serem cidadãos mais participantes, responsáveis e construtores do seu próprio saber. Com efeito, os inquiridos relatam o convívio e o sair da solidão como motivos principais para uma maior frequência e participação nas atividades do C.R.P.A. Por outro lado, as atividades desenvolvidas, foram classificadas pelos inquiridos como importantes e após a atividade teatral, os indivíduos relatam sentir-se bastante ativos e entusiásticos, moderadamente inspirados, alertas, e determinados. Os sentimentos positivos apresentaram um significativo acréscimo com a frequência do C.R.P.A. que se traduz significativamente quer na promoção da socialização, quer no aumento da frequência de atividades culturais.

This research has as its object the individual and community dimensions of the Theatre Animation (AT). The aims, in turn, seek to assess the importance of AT in the construction of the personal and local identity. To this end, we proceeded to a case study in the Popular Recreation Center of Arnelas (C.R.P.A.), through the analysis of documents (minutes and reports) as well as the application of a questionnaire. The results obtained throughout the investigation demonstrated the existence of a relationship between the collectivity and the community that through the socio-cultural and theatrical animation allowed them to acquire personal, social and cultural skills and to be citizens more participant, responsible and builders of their own knowledge. Indeed, the respondents report the conviviality and the getting out of the loneliness as the main reasons for a higher frequency and participation in the activities in the CRPA. On the other hand, the activities developed were classified by the respondents as important and after the theater activity, the individuals report feeling very active and enthusiastic, moderately inspired, alert and determined. The positive feelings showed a significant increase in frequency of the CRPA which significantly means either a promotion of the socialization, or an increase in frequency of the cultural activities.
