quer no funcionamento.
estruturas.
As intervenções
cooperativismo e a inclusão social.
as comunidades locais. The present work has as its starting point the understanding of the impact of social design in the local territory and the socioeconomic development of its populations. As mentioned by Prof. Dr Afonso Moreno, associations have undergone enormous mutations, both in ideology and in functioning. In recent decades, the emergence of new organizations has been observed, due to evolutionary factors and generational interests, but also due to the ageing of other structures. The design was not indifferent to these factors. If most of the new non-profit organizations are already within the social parameters and communication requirements of today's populations, the older ones in many cases have not kept up with the change. The distancing of institutions from creating and maintaining their social image and communication, essential today, is manifestly harmful, which has contributed to the distancing of populations from the activities of these institutions. For this type of organization and for them to maintain its cultural essence, design and communication are fundamental tools from which it is possible to foster new social dynamics. Several traditional techniques and materials, dominated and still held by people who participate in multiple non-profit organizations, can be used as an alternative to the skills needs of the market and, at the same time, create opportunities for value creation and income generation for groups that need occupation and/or additional income. Several traditional techniques and materials, dominated and still held by people who participate in multiple non-profit organizations, can be used as an alternative to the skills needs of the market and, at the same time, create opportunities for value creation and income generation for groups that need occupation and/or additional income. Scientific skills, craft techniques and physical spaces represent the cultural identity of population groups. It is here that design assumes its social function of innovation. Structured interventions design these cultural centers with a view to creating civic spaces for inclusion and cooperation, reconciling the different lifestyles where the "person" can grow intellectually and generate opportunities for work and leisure. This project focuses on the importance of sustainable development based on new forms of social organization and the dissemination of a design culture among populations. Social design enhances initiative, and entrepreneurship is applied to the local space, becoming an added value for cooperative and social inclusion. Oriented towards the study and support of non-profit organizations, it presents an intervention model that could translate into innovation, local appreciation, and greater visibility of the institutions' identity, with an impact on local sustained economic development. The case under study, the UNOS Project, emerges as an intervention and communication model developed to promote communication in local non-profit institutions and demonstrates that the development of communication allows them to create cooperation dynamics with other non-profit organizations and companies, increasing the impact of its activities and generating value for local communities. |
