Resumo(s):	Nowadays, the Internet is one of the main sources of data, which can be collected and interpreted in order to obtain valuable insights. This paper presents a method for extracting and analyzing data from tourism platforms, focusing on easy techniques and tools usable by virtually any person from any scientific area. This methodology allows the user to perform activities that would otherwise require previous knowledge in programming languages and statistics. Using the online Airbnb platform as our target website, our main goal will be to perform a quick and simple data extraction from the experiences’ listings available in Portugal, using Octoparse.
