A criatividade como ferramenta para uma melhor expressividade no ensino do violino: concepção de materiais didáticos

Abstract

O presente Relatório de Estágio foi desenvolvido no âmbito da unidade curricular de Estágio Profissional do 2º ano do ciclo de estudos do Mestrado em Ensino de Música da Universidade do Minho. É constituído por um trabalho de investigação e de intervenção didático-pedagógica, que pretendeu refletir sobre a contribuição da criatividade como meio para uma melhor expressividade na prática do violino e enquanto fator motivacional na aprendizagem do instrumento. A metodologia deste estudo integra-se no âmbito dos paradigmas de investigação qualitativa e decorreu em contexto escolar real. O instrumento de recolha de dados utilizado no estudo foi um questionário aplicado em fase de pós intervenção, com o objetivo de aferir em que medida a criatividade influenciou a prática instrumental e a motivação para o estudo do instrumento. Na fase interventiva do estudo foi implementada a metodologia de ensino individual de violino, sendo que os exercícios criativos foram adaptados aos diferentes níveis dos alunos. Ao ciclo de aulas seguiu-se um pequeno estágio de três dias e que teve como atividade de finalização, um concerto, realizado no dia 8 de julho, integrado no ciclo de audições «Quintas às Sete». Após uma análise dos resultados, foi possível concluir que a utilização de exercícios criativos tanto nas aulas como no estudo terão contribuído para fomentar a expressividade e a motivação na aprendizagem do instrumento.

This Internship Report was developed within the scope of the curricular unit of Professional Internship of the second year of the master’s degree in Music Teaching at the University of Minho. It consists of a research work and didactic-pedagogical intervention, which aimed to reflect on the contribution of creativity as a means for better expressiveness in violin practice and as a motivational factor in learning the instrument. The methodology of this study is integrated within the qualitative research paradigms and took place in a real school context, having been conducted using a convenience sample, composed of seven students (1st, 2nd, 3rd cycle and high school). The data collection instrument used in the study was a questionnaire applied to the sample in the post intervention phase, with the objective of assessing to what extent creativity influenced instrumental practice and the motivation to study the instrument. In the interventional phase of the study, the methodology of individual violin teaching was implemented, and the creative exercises were adapted to the various levels of the students. The teaching cycle was followed by a short three-day internship, which had as a final activity, a concert, held on July 8th, integrated in the cycle of auditions "Thursdays at Seven". After an analysis of the results, it was possible to conclude that the use of creative exercises both in class and in the study contributed to fostering expressiveness and motivation in learning the instrument.
