As representações histórico-socioculturais de Moçambique através de sua literatura de escrita feminina: contributos interculturais para aulas de PLNM

Abstract

Segundo Noa (2019, pp.18-19), há um compromisso marcante da literatura moçambicana em aliar escrita e sociedade, reforçando não só aspectos históricos e culturais, mas também políticos. Portanto, no decorrer da trajetória desse recente país, escritores deram destaques às diversas situações correntes, enfatizando anseios e lacunas de cada fase histórica dessa nação emergente. Dentre esses escritores há uma minoria feminina que, devido ao passado colonial, às tradições e ao patriarcado, chega tardiamente ao cenário literário. Entre os temas abordados em seus escritos estão: a poligamia, os ritos de iniciação, a luta pela libertação, a guerra civil, o colonialismo, configurando um rico material histórico sociocultural há muito tempo negligenciado. O Quadro Europeu Comum de Referência para as Línguas pontua que “o conhecimento dos valores partilhados e das crenças dos grupos sociais doutros países e regiões, tais como crenças religiosas, tabus, história comum, etc., são essenciais para a comunicação intercultural”. (QECRL, 2001, p.31). Portanto, é mister desenvolver nos aprendentes de PLNM uma consciência transcultural para o estabelecimento da empatia, do reconhecimento e da aproximação de diferentes saberes. Em vista disso, por meio de propostas didáticas, a partir de obras de Noémia de Sousa, Lília Momplé e Paulina Chiziane, esta dissertação visa recuperar duas marginalidades: a das vozes africanas no ensino de PLNM e, dentro destas, as vozes femininas, margem da margem.

According to Noa (2019, pp.18-19), there is a significant commitment in Mozambican literature to align writing with society, reinforcing not only historical and cultural aspects but also political ones. Therefore, writers have highlighted various current situations throughout this young nation's history, emphasizing the aspirations and gaps of each historical phase of this emerging nation. Among these writers, there is a minority of women who, due to the colonial past, traditions, and patriarchy, arrived late on the literary scene. The themes addressed in their writings include polygamy, initiation rites, the struggle for liberation, civil war, and colonialism, forming a rich socio-cultural historical material that has long been neglected. The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages states that "knowledge of shared values and beliefs of social groups from other countries and regions, such as religious beliefs, taboos, common history, etc., is essential for intercultural communication" (CEFR, 2001, p.31). Therefore, it is essential to develop transcultural awareness in learners of Portuguese as a non-native language to establish empathy, recognition, and connection with different knowledge systems. In light of this, through didactic proposals based on the works of Noémia de Sousa, Lília Momplé, and Paulina Chiziane, this dissertation aims to recover two forms of marginalization: the marginalization of African voices in the teaching of Portuguese as a non-native language and, within these voices, the marginalization of women, the margin within the margin.
