online.
In an increasingly globalized world where everything is just a click away, companies need to outline a digital strategy that differentiates them from their competitors. There are fewer and fewer customers who do not use social networks on a daily basis. Therefore, brands need to leverage this factor through the use of influencers to advertise their products. This report is the result of a six-month internship at Salsa, a multinational textile company, in the Brand department that encompasses the areas of marketing, public relations, design and communication in retail, multi-brand and social networks. The department also had a strong connection with the digital department to align communication in both offline and online. The internship took place in the 2nd semester of 2021 and the beginning of the 1st semester of 2022, and it was possible to witness the application of the 2021 marketing strategy and its conclusions for the delimitation of the new year. This work aims to analyze the digital marketing strategy implemented by Salsa and understand how it uses influencers as a means of publicizing the brand. With this, it is intended to develop knowledge about how influencers contribute to the marketing strategy. The results of this work allowed us to identify some limitations of the use of influencers by brands, associated with the process of working with influencers. These results can be useful for a correct assessment of the use of influencers, allowing companies that are considering using this tool within the scope of digital marketing to take into account the risks of this strategy. |
