interdependências face a várias dimensões.
letivo.
todas as variáveis tomando o ensino privado/público.
Creativity presents itself as the aim of multiple definitions, explanations and interdependencies in the face of various dimensions. It’s fundamental to all domains of society and is increasingly more present as a need in the current times and in the future. The educational context should be privileged towards the nurturing of creative competences, and it should occur from the beginning of the school path. Studies on how students and teachers perceive creativity or a creative environment in a classroom, how these dimensions cross with the genre or type of education, are therefore needed. This study analyzed creative environment representations in classrooms and the self-evaluation of creativity in 4º grade students, ratings of teachers bout the students creativity and academic achievement, based on the gender of the students, types of education (private and public) and social context the school (rural or urban), as well as the relationship between the students representations, the assigned classifications by the teachers and the academic results. Participants were 245 students and 12 teachers from public and private schools, inserted in rural and urban environments. The data was collected by the “Escala sobre o Clima para a Criatividade em Sala de Aula, (Morais et al., 2019)”, by listing the teacher 's perceptions and by the academic classifications of the last term of the school year. The results show statistically significant differences based on gender in the perception of a creative climate and in the attributed classifications by the teachers, as well as about all the variables accounting private and public education. In the urban and rural dichotomy there is only one statistically significant difference. Correlations of a low statistically significant difference emerge between several variables. The gathered data incentivizes creativity stimulation on both genders, and from them can surge signs towards the public and rural education where there were obtained less positive results in the perception of a creative climate in the classroom, concerning the perceptions of creativity by the teachers and in the academic yield. |
