à formação e as perceções posteriores à formação.
This research is part of the Master's degree in Communication, Art and Culture of the Institute of Social Sciences of the University of Minho and aims to understand whether the activities developed by the Grupo Jovens Ativos Ciganos, which is part of the project Geração Tecla of Youth of Braga of the Portuguese Red Cross, contributes to the take-off of labels and prejudices towards roma ethnicity. To this end, the Group and its activities were framed in order to understand the reasons for it ´s creation and interviews were conducted with those who attended the training sessions in order to gather possible perceptions of roma ethnicity prior to the sessions and after the sessions. With the results of this study, it was possible to conclude that if there was more information about roma ethnicity, their habits, practices and history, there would be a better understanding of its particularities. This type of activities are necessary to promote inclusion through education so that there is more tolerance. |
