A oficina Fife: um contributo metodológico para a iniciação ao instrumento no ensino especializado de flauta transversal

Abstract

O presente Relatório foi elaborado no âmbito do Estágio Profissional do Mestrado em Ensino de Música da Universidade do Minho, realizado no Conservatório de Música de Vila do Conde no ano letivo 2019/2020 nos Grupos de Recrutamento M09 (Instrumento-Flauta Transversal) e M32 (Classe de Conjunto). Constatando-se as dificuldades de adaptação dos alunos de iniciação à flauta transversal standard, o projeto de intervenção implementado teve como objetivos: demonstrar que a flauta fife é uma boa alternativa à flauta transversal, atingir os objetivos de aprendizagem definidos através do uso da flauta fife e compilar um manual adequado à aprendizagem com a flauta fife. Como parte integrante do projeto de intervenção, foi elaborado e aplicado o manual A Oficina da Flauta Fife – Método para a iniciação ao seu estudo. Este manual apresenta-se como um contributo para a aprendizagem da flauta fife, acompanhando-se de uma apresentação detalhada de cada nota. Por sua vez, a cada nota associam-se Exercícios, Estudos e Peças, com vista à consolidação da aprendizagem. Este Método é bastante colorido e inclui ilustrações. Paralelamente oferece-se a possibilidade de uma aprendizagem mais minuciosa da embocadura a formar através da utilização do Pneumo Pro, que este poderá ser utilizado durante todo o percurso musical do aluno. Através dos instrumentos de recolha de dados resultantes da aplicação de questionários e entrevista aos professores de Flauta Transversal que lecionam o nível da iniciação em Portugal e aos alunos da Classe de Flauta Transversal do Conservatório de Música de Vila do Conde, foi possível constatar que a flauta fife constitui uma alternativa pertinente ao uso da flauta transversal na iniciação a este instrumento, revelando-se nesse contexto o manual desenvolvido um recurso didático eficiente na prossecução dos objetivos de aprendizagem no nível da iniciação.

This Report was written within the scope of the Professional Internship of the Master in Music Teaching at the University of Minho, held at the Conservatory of Music of Vila do Conde by the academic year of 2019/2020 in the Recruitment Groups M09 (Instrument-Transverse Flute) and M32 (Class of Set). Taking into account the adaptation difficulties of beginners students to the standard transverse flute, the intervention project implemented had as main objectives: demonstrate that the flute fife is a great alternative to the transverse flute, achieve the learning objectives defined through the use of the flute fife and write a manual suitable for learning the fife’s flute. As an integral part of the intervention project, the manual The Fife’s Flute Workshop - Method for its study initiation was developed and applied. This manual is presented as a contribution to the learning of the flute, accompanied by a detailed presentation of each note. In turn, Exercises, Studies and Parts are associated with each grade, with a view to consolidating learning. This method is very colorful and includes illustrations. In parallel, it offers the possibility of a more detailed learning of the mouth to be formed through the use of Pneumo Pro, which can be used throughout the student's musical journey. Through the data collection resulting from questionnaires and interviews to Transverse Flute teachers, who teach initiation level in Portugal, and students from the Transverse Flute Class of the Conservatory of Music of Vila do Conde, it was possible to verify that the fife flute constitutes a pertinent alternative to the use of the transverse flute in the initiation to this instrument, so revealing that the written manual is an efficient didactic resource for the achievement of the learning objectives at the initiation level.
