A oportunidade de participação das crianças em contexto educativo

Abstract

O presente documento constitui um relatório de estágio final que resultou da Prática de Ensino Supervisionado (PES) e apresenta a conceção, desenvolvimento e avaliação de um projeto de intervenção e investigação pedagógica, realizado em dois contextos distintos, um em Educação Pré-escolar e outro em 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico. Este intitula-se “A oportunidade de participação das crianças em contexto educativo” e foi sustentado pela metodologia de investigação-ação. Este objeto de estudo surgiu da observação participante e reflexiva de dois grupos, o que tornou possível o conhecimento aprofundado dos contextos em que estes estavam inseridos. Assim, torna-se fundamental afirmar que se parte da compreensão das crianças como sujeitos que pertencem a um determinado grupo social, capazes de partilhar as suas opiniões, de debater as opiniões dos outros e de decidir aquilo que querem fazer. Ao longo deste relatório de estágio final serão descritos os contextos educativos, uma fundamentação teórica onde serão aprofundados tópicos fundamentais para este estudo, a descrição e análise de diversas intervenções e a delineação de estratégias promotoras da participação das crianças, decorrentes do processo de investigação que acompanhou toda a intervenção pedagógica. Para além disto, serão abordados os contributos destas estratégias para a mudança das atitudes dos grupos, que se traduziram num aumento da participação das crianças e para a construção de aspetos centrais para a construção da minha identidade profissional.

This document is a final strage report resulting from the Supervised Teaching Practice (PES) and presents the design, development and evaluation of an intervention and pedagogical research project, two different contexts, one in Preschool Education and the other in 1st Cycle of Basic Education. It is entitled “The opportunity for children to participate in na educational context” and was supported by the action-research methodology. This object of study arose from the participant and reflexive observation of two groups, which made it possible to thoroughly understand the contexts in which they are inserted. Thus, it is essential to affirm that if part of the understanding of children as subjects belonging to a certais social group, able to share their opinions, to debate the opinions of others and to decide what they want to do. Thoughout this final stage report, educational contexts will be described, a theoretical Foundation where key topics for this study will be deepened, the description and analysis of various interventions and the delineation of strategies promoting the participation of children, resulting from the investigation process that accompanied the entire pedagogical intervention. In addition, the contributions of these strategies to the change of attitudes of the groups will be addressed, which have resulted in an increase in the participation of children and the construction of central aspects for the construction of my professional identity.
