Sítios arqueológicos de interpretação, em Portugal - Alentejo e Algarve

Abstract

A Tese de Dissertação apresentada pretende identificar, mediante uma análise SWOT, os pontos fortes e as fragilidades de oito sítios arqueológicos do Alentejo e três do Algarve. Do Alentejo enunciamos: Conjunto Monumental de Mértola; Conjunto Arqueológico do Escoural, Circuito Arqueológico da Cola; Povoado Pré-Histórico de Santa Vitória; Ruínas Romanas de Miróbriga; Villa Romana de Pisões; Ruínas de São Cucufate e Villa Romana de Torre de Palma. Relativamente ao Algarve apresentamos: Monumentos Megalíticos de Alcalar; Villa Romana de Cerro da Vila e Ruínas de Milreu. Com a crescente globalização os recursos de novas tecnologias estão a ser cada vez mais utilizados, consequentemente, realizámos uma análise detalhada em várias línguas (inglês, francês e italiano) aos vários sítios arqueológicos analisados com o intuito de verificar a sua projecção. Analisámos, no âmbito do Património rural, os Monumentos Megalíticos de Évora, onde detectámos uma inexistência de investimento a este legado e; simultaneamente estudámos o Património urbano da cidade de Évora, no qual verificámos, que perante o Património arqueológico o investimento é quase nulo. Finalmente, delineámos aspectos que a principal entidade promotora - IPPAR - terá de ter em conta face ao investimento realizado (que foi impossível apresentar). É necessário que as infra-estruturas de apoio ao turista, tais como os Centros de Acolhimento e Interpretação sejam aproveitados para a recepção de visitantes, mas também, para a prática e recurso a novas tecnologias, como por exemplo, as visitas didácticas e virtuais complementadas com a informação disponível na Internet. Considerámos que os sítios arqueológicos, sendo Património rural necessita de uma promoção conjunta com outros tipos de Património e de recursos turísticos, de forma a dinamizar e a rentabilizar mais eficazmente as estruturas do IPPAR.

This Dissertation includes a SWOT 'analysis that has the description of eight archaeological sites of Alentejo and three in Algarve. At Alentejo we had: Mértola; Escoural; Cola; Santa Vitória; Miróbriga; Pisões; Cucufate and Torre de Palma. At Algarve we had studied: Alcalar; Cerro da Vila and Milreu. We too investigated the Megalithic Monuments of Évora not to compare with the others, but just to visualize the extremely different between the rural and the urban Patrimony investment and tourist information. The SWOT' analysis has a particular study into the strength and also to the weakness. Due to emphasize the IPPAR investment and also to explain if this investment has been efficient to the Cultural Tourism in Portugal we investigated all the complementary structures of the tourist reception. And we verified that many aspects have been sub-developed, because there is not much recourse at the new technology, such as Internet. Finally, we verified that these archaeological sites, that belong to the rural Patrimony, needs urgently of a global promotion with other type of Patrimony, for example, the urban, such as Évora. So in this Dissertation we also considered this type of Patrimony to construct a truth and efficient scenery between these two types of tourist recourse. And therefore we deeply explore the investment, structures and the recourses organized by IPPAR.
