| Resumo(s): | Our study included a total of 36 Fomes fomentarius specimens obtained from Portugal, Spain, Italy, Greece and the Czech Republic. After multiple sequence alignment analysis we observed that samples collected in Southern Europe belong to the lineage B with the exception of one specimen from northern Greece. |
