O grupo virtual do Facebook no ensino da disciplina de Informática Aplicada

Abstract

Os espaços virtuais proporcionados pela internet, nomeadamente as redes socias virtuais, possibilitam às pessoas estarem presentes virtualmente em tempos e espaços diferentes. Os alunos e os professores também estão inseridos nas redes sociais virtuais e facilmente criam laços de interação social. É importante o professor servir-se das potencialidades das redes sociais virtuais e estudar estratégias de interação entre os alunos nestes espaços de forma a potenciar o processo de ensino e aprendizagem em tempos e espaços diferentes. Neste estudo contextualizou-se o processo de ensino e aprendizagem da disciplina de Informática Aplicada do Instituto Superior de Ciências da Educação da Huíla em Angola. Propôs-se responder a seguinte questão de investigação: Os alunos da disciplina de Informática Aplicada, intensificam as suas interações de aprendizagem mediante um grupo virtual no Facebook na resolução e apresentação das atividades da aula. O objectivo geral deste estudo é descrevermos a intensificação das interações entre alunos por meio de um grupo virtual no Facebook para a resolução e apresentação das atividades da aula. Tratou-se de um estudo de caso. Os participantes do estudo foram os alunos do primeiro ano dos cursos de Química e Física no ano lectivo de 2018. O instrumento de recolha de dados utilizado foi o portfólio do grupo virtual e analisou-se os dados mediante a análise estrutural das redes sociais; Os resultados do estudo permitiu-nos compreender como acontece as interações entre os alunos no ensino e aprendizagem da disciplina de Informática Aplicada no grupo virtual do Facebook.

The virtual spaces provided by the internet, namely virtual social networks, enable people to be present in virtually different times and spaces. Students and teachers are also embedded in virtual social networks and easily create ties of social interaction. It is important for the teacher to use the potentialities of virtual social networks and to study strategies of interaction among students in these spaces in order to enhance the teaching and learning process in different times and spaces. In this study the teaching and learning process of the Applied computing discipline of the Higher Institute of Education Sciences of Huíla in Angola was contextualized. It was proposed to answer the following research question: Students of Applied computing discipline, intensify their learning interactions through a virtual group on Facebook in the resolution and presentation of class activities. The general objective of this study is to describe the intensification of interactions among students through a virtual group on Facebook for the resolution and presentation of class activities. It was a case study. The study participants were the first year students of the Chemistry and Physics courses in the academic year of 2018. The instrument of data collection used was the portfolio of the virtual group and analyzed the data through the structural analysis of social networks; The results of the study allowed us to understand how the interactions between students in the teaching and learning of the discipline of Applied computing in the virtual group of Facebook
