Música e o ambiente: reciclar para melhorar

Abstract

O presente relatório foi realizado no âmbito da Unidade Curricular de Prática de Ensino Supervisionada, do Mestrado de Educação Pré-Escolar, desenvolveu-se em torno da reciclagem e da música intitulando-se: Música e o ambiente: reciclar para melhorar. Este projeto teve os seguintes objetivos: desenvolver o interesse pela música; estimular a exploração de diferentes sons e instrumentos musicais; potenciar a memória auditiva; ampliar os conhecimentos musicais; sensibilizar através da música para a necessidade de cuidar do ambiente; averiguar o papel da música na possibilidade de adoção de práticas relacionadas com a preservação do ambiente. O Projeto de Intervenção Pedagógica seguiu a metodologia de ensino da instituição, Modelo Curricular High/Scope, centrando-se nos interesses e necessidades das crianças, tendo também como apoio a abordagem à aproximação da metodologia de Investigação-Ação, fundamentando-se, assim, num ciclo contínuo de observação, planeamento, reflexão e avaliação. Os instrumentos de recolha de dados no decorrer do projeto foram a observação, registo fotográfico e notas de campo. As crianças durante o projeto mostravam-se participativas, motivadas, entusiasmadas e envolvidas no projeto. O Projeto de Intervenção Pedagógica permitiu demonstrar a influência positiva da música e da Educação Musical nas aprendizagens e no desenvolvimento das crianças e nas suas relações entre pares. Permitiu, igualmente, observar um grande interesse e participação das crianças, assim como a aquisição de conhecimentos relacionados com a música e a reciclagem. O propósito primordial do projeto de intervenção foi o de criar oportunidades que permitissem às crianças, por um lado, contactar com contextos musicais ricos e significativos, e, por outro lado, explorar a música e desenvolver esta linguagem expressiva, enquanto se sensibilizava para a preservação do ambiente.

The present report was carried out under the scope of the Curricular Unit of Supervised Teaching Practise of the Preschool Education Master’s. The Project was developed around the themes of recycling and music and it’s called: Music and the Environment: recycle to improve. The goals of the project were the following: develop the interest for music; to stimulate the discover of different sounds and musical instruments; potentiate the hearing memory; to expand the musical knowledge; to sensitize by music to the need of taking care of the environment; to inquire about the role of music in the possibility of adopting practices related to the environmental preservation. The Project of Pedagogical Intervention followed the teaching methodology of the institution: Curricular Model High/Scope, focusing in the interests and needs of the children, also using as support the approach to the Investigation-Action Approach, reasoning in a continuum circle of observation, planning, reflection and evaluation. The collecting tools of data during the project were observation, photographic register and field notes. During the project the children were participatory, motivated, enthusiastic and involved in the project. The Project of Pedagogical Intervention allowed to demonstrate the positive influence of music and Musical Education in the learning skills and in the development of children and their relation between pairs. It also allowed to observe a great interest and participation of children and their acquisition of knowledge regarding music and recycling. The primordial purpose of the intervention project was to create opportunities that, in one hand allowed the children to get in touch with meaningful and rich musical contexts and, in the other hand, to explore music and develop this expressive language, while raising awareness to the environmental preservation.
